The Front Porch Music School, a young and fast-growing music education and performance center in downtown Charlottesville, needed to expand their facility to accommodate an evolving roster of students and professional acts. The design team made minor modifications to the interior space planning to support the organizations mission of building community through music. The entry lobby was expanded to allow for social interaction and a welcoming entry sequence. The second floor was modified to incorporate a large community room for group jam sessions and meetings, and a waiting area for parents while students are in lessons. The main level performance space was also upgraded to provide a professional environment for national acts to host shows.

Design scope included interior modifications and finishes.
