Dept Agency is a face-paced, creative digital media company headquartered in Chicago, with office locations all over the world. In Charlottesville, the young and growing office relocated to a building with a dated layout and finishes. DGF Studio modernized the space by demolishing existing cubicles, upgrading finishes, reconfiguring the kitchen layout, and providing new furniture specifications to accommodate the new space. Oak veneer cabinets and clean white countertops provide a backdrop for the kitchenette as a social hub. Custom built planters establish a lounge for alternative seating, and an open floor plan capitalizes on daylight penetration from the skylights above.

Scope included conceptual design, construction documentation/administration services, and furniture specifications.
